Dust extinction value predicted by the Balmer decrement under case B approximation and low-density limit at 10 000 K. While Hα, Hβ, Hγ, and Hδ are more consistent, Hε is consistent with the prediction only in the low [N II]/Hα bin. Hζ values are not shown due to strong contamination and stellar continuum systematics.
