Polarisation spectrum predicted by our two-phase model. On the left, only aligned silicate produces polarisation in the first phase (warm phase), while either aligned silicate (solid line) or aligned mixed silicate and carbonaceous (dashed line) in the second phase (cold phase) produce polarisation. The right panel shows the case of mixed composition in the warm phase. This mixture increases p(%) in the warm phase and consequently makes a shallow V-shape, as compared to that of only silicate (shown in the left panel). We adopted fmax = 0.5, fheat = 5 with U = 40, and nн = 103 cm−3.
