Notes. Top: for each instrument comparison, the proportional uncertainty in B_los in the original data, σ_{B_los} and in the cross-calibrated data from case A, $σ_{B_{los}, A}$ ${{\sigma_{{{B_{\text{los}}}}{\rm,A}}}}$ and case B, $σ_{B_{los}, B}$ ${{\sigma_{{{B_{\text{los}}}}{\rm,B}}}}$ . The proportional uncertainty in B_los due to the variation in instrument response with magnetogram signal level and distance from disc centre, $σ_{B_{los}, mag, ddc}$ ${{\sigma_{{{B_{\text{los}}}}{\rm,mag,ddc}}}}$ is also listed. Bottom: the same for the proportional uncertainty in the disc-integrated photospheric magnetic flux, σ_{ϕ_tot}. The values are scaled by a factor of 100 to express them as percentages. See Sect. 3.2 for details.
