Comparison of the B-band luminosity function of miniJPAS galaxies (coloured lines from top to bottom: star-forming, quiescent, and full galaxy sample) with those fitted or inferred (Schechter-like functions) from previous works at different redshift. The dashed lines show the B-band luminosity functions for magnitudes fainter than the completeness lower limit of the sample employed for their determination (i.e. $M_B>M_B^{\mathcal{C}=0.25}(z)$).
