Evolution of hardness, as derived from the flux ratio in the 1.5−5 keV and 5−10 keV bands. For the 2021 outburst, NICER data was used, while for the 2006 outburst we used archival RXTE data. For comparison with previous works, a distance of 7.1 kpc was used to calculate the luminosity on the upper x-axis, while 2.4 kpc was used for the lower x-axis.
