Expected kink in the channel maps for a thermal mass planet in a disc with hp/rp = 0.05 (left column) and hp/rp = 0.1 (right column), resulting in a planet mass of mp ≃ 0.02 MJ and mp ≃ 0.67 MJ, respectively. We arbitrarily set the inclination of the disc to i = −45°. Top row: channel maps obtained from the velocity field of the simulation. Middle row: channel maps obtained from the velocity field of the analytical model. Bottom row: intensity residuals between the channel maps obtained from the velocity field of the simulation and the analytic model.

Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.

Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.
