LIFT estimates for the second set of defocused on-sky PSFs. The experiment is similar to that shown in Fig. 1, but this time, precalibration was also performed, resulting in higher estimation accuracy for defocus and higher-order modes (bottom row) compared to the uncalibrated case (upper row). The error bars are the 1σ confidence interval. NGS is mJ = 7.1, seeing is ≈0.5″.
