Multicomponent nonlinear empirical specfit and AD model fits for CIII]λ1909 blend following the same approach as employed for CIVλ1549. The axes and the components are the same as in Fig. 8, except for the red line, which represents the AD model fitting result for CIII]λ1909, SiIII]λ1892, and the sum of the two AlIIIλ1857 components by using the parameters appropriate for the MgII. The resulting Si III]λ1892 is barely visible. The black lines trace the BC components of CIII]λ1909 and Si III]λ1892. The dot-dashed vertical line identifies the rest-frame wavelength of CIII]λ1909.
