H I velocity spectra for sightlines with far away clouds. The spectra are sorted according to the Galactic longitudes of their sightlines and shown with color ranging from blue to red. For visual perception, the velocity spectra are smoothed with a Gaussian kernel with width of 1.9 km s−1.
