We have noticed an error in Eq. (9) of our original paper. Furthermore, in the paragraph below, we provide an explanation of how LW3, dust and LW4, dust were calculated, which was not described correctly in our paper.
The correct form of Eq. (9), which was correctly applied in the paper, is the following:
where LNUV is the luminosity of the Galaxy Evolution Explorer (GALEX) near-ultraviolet (NUV) band and LW3, dust, LW4, dust are the luminosities from the dust contribution to the Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer (WISE) W3 and W4 bands. Thelatter was obtained from the total luminosities in these bands after subtracting the stellar continuum based on the W1 luminosity, LW1, calculated following Jarrett et al. (2017) as cited in Cluver et al. (2017), as LW3, stellar = 0.158 × LW1 and LW4, stelllar = 0.059 × LW1 (very similar to the coefficients of Janowiecki; LW3, stellar, J17 = 0.201 × LW1, and LW4, stellar, J17 = 0.044 × LW1). All luminosities are defined as νLν and are in units oferg s−1.
