SDSS Mr luminosity functions including (full markers) and omitting (empty markers) K-corrections. The effect is less than 7 percent at −22.5 < Mr < −18, while it grows up to ∼30 percent in the faint and luminous tails of the distribution. The gray band highlights the 10 percent difference range.
