Demonstration of the proper motion-only method for the known exoplanet µ2 Sco b. The bottom left panel shows these as two-dimensional (Gaussian) distributions. The other two panels show the one-dimensional marginal distributions. The measured relative proper motion is shown in orange: the uncertainties in this is not shown because it is included in the two likelihoods (see Eqs. (5) and (6)).
