Measured X-ray luminosity in the 2–10 keV range versus galaxy stellar mass . The markers, colour-coding and literature references are all the same as in Fig. 2. We stack non-detections (upper limits, blue and orange arrows) in mass bins of 1 dex width starting at a galaxy mass of 10^5.5M_⊙ to set tighter constraints on the X-ray emission in dwarf galaxies. Only galaxies above galaxy masses of approximately 10^9.3 M_⊙ are detected in the eRASS:4 data.
