Viscous evolution of the gas surface density Σg during the full simulation. After the infall phase, Σg keeps dropping in the inner disk where matter is accreting onto the Sun. In the outer disk, the viscosity is lower and there is less observable change. The planet gap can be clearly be seen at 3 AU.
