Radial velocity of the gas υR during the infall phase. At the centrifugal radius, indicated by the dashed vertical lines, υR becomes strongly positive due to a large gradient in surface density pushing gas outward. Interior to this radius, the gas moves inward as it accretes onto the Sun. The sudden vertical jumps are likely numerical artefacts that are not expected to have a significant impact on the results.
