0.7 − 2 keV surface brightness distribution of the ICM in the outskirts of Abell 1795 obtained in 5 annuli. The annuli extend out to ∼42.5′ as listed in Table 3. Overall, the median surface brightness coincides with the peak of the distribution, but the mean, especially at larger radii, is shifted towards high values, which suggests the presence of unresolved gas inhomogeneities (Zhuravleva et al. 2013). We selected the >  + 2σ outliers of the log-normal fit within each annulus, which resulted in a total of 24 sources to form our list of clump candidates.
