Metis visible-light total brightness images of the solar corona on February 22, 2021, at 19:55 UT (left panel) and 22:30 UT (right panel) in the FOV 3.1 R_⊙–5.7 R_⊙ after subtraction of the minimum background image. In the right panel, a CME that started at about 20:50 UT is clearly visible above the east limb of the Sun and an arrow points out the CME’s location.
