Planetary radius – mass diagram obtained for planets orbiting M-type stars (blue dots) and discovered via the RV and transit methods (based on the NASA Exoplanet Archive, May 2023). All planets have masses lower than 14% and radii uncertainties smaller than 10%. The various planetary composition models of Zeng et al. (2016) are shown with solid colored lines. The red stars indicate the locations of TOI-1470 b and c. Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, and Uranus are also shown for comparison purposes.
