Width of the H2 emitting zone for b = 0.1 (left) and 1.0 (right) for the transitions υ = 0−0 S(1) (17.05 µm; top) and 1−0 S(1) (2.12 µm; bottom). The width is measured as the extent of the region where 80% of the emission is radiated away. In each cell is written the log of the integrated intensity of the line in units of erg cm−2 s−1 sr−1. The colored dots indicate the resulting shock type, where blue is for J-type shocks and orange for C-type shocks.
