Disk-integrated spectrum of Venus between 1159 and 1162 cm−1 (8.6 µm) recorded on June 26, 2021. The positions of the strongest SO2 lines (S = 5 × 10−21 cm−2 atar−1) are indicated. All the lines are due to terrestrial atmospheric absorption, in particular nitrous oxide and ozone.
