Calculated RMion corrections given at 30-min intervals for different observations using the satellite-based TEC measurements and the global geomagnetic field model. The observed decrease of RMion during each nighttime observation is due to recombination of plasma in the ionosphere, which happens after the sunset and decreases the TEC throughout night.
