Sky coverage of the secondGaia catalogue of LPV candidates and the OGLE-III LPV catalogue in the region of the Magellanic Clouds (top, in equatorial coordinates) and towards the Galactic bulge (bottom, in galactic coordinates). Grey symbols show Gaia DR3 LPV sources, blue symbols show OGLE-III sources, and red symbols show sources that matched within 2″ in the two catalogues that lie within the region selected as the common sky area of the two surveys for comparison.
