Footprint of the RR Lyrae stars of the CATALINA survey that we used to estimate the completeness of the Gaia DR3 RR Lyrae clean catalogue. In the region shown in the map lie 42 775 RR Lyrae observed by CATALINA, with magnitudes in the range 11 < V < 21.1 mag. In the RR Lyrae clean catalogue, we recover 36 576 of them, using a cross-match radius of 2.5 arcsec.
