Expected transmission signal as a function of the incident stellar flux for small planets (Rp < 2.5 R). The symbols are color-coded as a function of their S/N relative to TRAPPIST-1 b, using a JWST/NIRSpec observation. The size of the symbols is proportional to the planetary radius, and circles for 1 and 2 R planets are shown for comparison. Planets LP 791-18 c and TRAPPIST-1 b are labeled and marked with a central dot for quick recognition. TOI-2096b and c are marked with a cross. Data were taken from NASA Exoplanet Archive on October 24, 2022.
