The top panel shows the semi-major axis of both planets (Jupiter in red, Saturn in blue), and the bottom panel shows their eccentricities. The markers indicate the time at which the planets get locked into a resonance: the triangle marks the 5:2 MMR, and the diamond marks the 2:1 MMR.
