Probability K(E) that individual, randomly chosen carbon clusters were excited with an energy of at least E for an excitation from a 20,000 K blackbody star, as a function of E. The cutoff values at 7.5, 8.0, and 8.5 eV appropriate for C60, C42, and C24 isomers, respectively, were imposed as an approximate way of accounting for ionisation processes.
