Computation speed comparison between SOAP 2.0 and SOAP GPU: the integrated quiet sun spectrum is calculated with different disk resolutions. When disk resolution is below 10, SOAP 2.0 is faster than SOAP-GPU since the communication between CPU and GPU in SOAP-GPU is time-consuming. For resolutions above 10, SOAP-GPU is significantly faster than SOAP 2.0. With a typical resolution value of 300, the quiet disk spectrum integration in SOAP-GPU is 100 times faster than in SOAP 2.0.
