Demonstration of the coordinate system used in previous works for Hammer-Aitoff projection maps (see, e.g., Gillessen et al. 2009, 2017) by mapping Fig. 5 to this coordinate system. The transformation is most simply described as a 90 degree rotation in Ω. The projected (Ω, i) coordinate corresponding to the orbital solution for S2 from Gillessen et al. (2017) is also included for reference (green) in addition to the points representing the three stars also shown in Fig. 5 (navy).
