Same as Fig. 5, but for J02222+478 (GJ 96). No planetary signal at a period of 73.9 days, as claimed by Hobson et al. (2018), is visible in the CARMENES data. The only significant periodicity is at ~28.5 days and seems to be related to activity given the counterparts in some of the indicators. Phase-folded plots are shown in Fig. 7.
