Notes. The infall radius is the location at which the infalling material is deposited in the disc (see Sect. 2). In runs OBS_IRR, OBS_NOIRR and OBS_REDIRR, the infall radii were chosen to match observed disc sizes. In run OBS_REDIRR the accretion heating was reduced by a factor of twelve relative to runs 1–4.
