Galactocentric Cartesian XY projection of the position of the stars having Mini ≥ 4 M, log g  <  2, and Zmax <  0.5 kpc. The Galactic centre is located at (X, Y)=0 (on the left) and Galactic rotation is going clockwise. The colour-coding represents the metallicity of the stars, whereas the plus sign is located at the Sun’s position. The position of the Perseus, Local, Sagittarius, and Scutum spiral arms, based on the Castro-Ginard et al. (2021) results, are also plotted as black continuous lines.
