Notes. For each region, we present the number of massive star candidates (n), the weighted average distance and the standard error (Dist.) computed from the individual distances given by Bailer-Jones et al. (2021), the excess color and its adopted range, and the designation associated with each region as shown in Fig. 3. The weighted average distance was calculated using the mean value of the errors given by Bailer-Jones et al. (2021) for each of the sources. The standard error was derived as the standard deviation divided by the square root of the number (n) in the sample.
