Terminal velocities and end heights for fireballs with computed terminal masses larger than 1 g. The terminal mass is coded by the symbol size and color. The symbols are placed at the heights where terminal velocities were measured. The arrows point to the actual end heights, which are lower in cases where velocity was difficult to measure toward the fireball end. The velocity at the end is expected to be lower than shown in these cases. The shaded area encompass fireballs with a high probability of dropping a meteorite larger than 1 g.
