Open-loop reconstruction of an incident phase corresponding to a Kolmogorov turbulence with r0 = 12.6 cm. The dashed lines represent the co-aligned cases. The solid lines stand for the super-resolved cases achieved by combining four SH WFS that are properly shifted by half (1/2) of a sub-aperture. The same number of modes is reconstructed for the co-aligned cases and their respective shifted cases, that is, up to modes, which is the spatial resolution that would be provided by a single WFS with twice as many sub-apertures per diameter.
