Galaxy sample as seen by SDSS. The images are the SDSS postage stamp images 20″ × 20″ in size. The squared boxes on the images show the field of view of our SINFONI observations to show what part of the galaxies is covered by the SINFONI observations. The horizontal line in the bottom of each panel shows a 2 kpc scaling bar.
