Selection of channel maps for CN-1 (top) and CN-2 (bottom) emission. The number in the top right corner of each panel shows the channel velocity (systemic velocity is 1.95 km s−1), and the ellipse in the bottom left corner the beam size. For the channels used to derive the vertical profile, black dots trace the peak intensity locations along the upper layer of emission. Upper and lower layers of emission, as well as far and near sides of the emission are identified for reference in the bottom panels of the CN-1 emission. A complete panel of the channel map emission is presented in Appendix A for each transition.
