Distribution of metallicity gradients as a function of the orbital parameters obtained for the MW satellites, assuming a light potential for the MW (see Battaglia et al. 2022, for further details). On the x-axes we show the eccentricities (top panels), the pericentric distances (middle panels), and the time since the last pericentric passage (bottom panels) of the considered sample. On the y-axes, we plot the metallicity gradients in units of the 2D SMA half-light radius (left panels) and in units of the physical radius (right panels).
