Columns (5) and (6): mean and 68% confidence intervals (bootstrap resampling) of fesc and 12 + log(O/H) for each bin. Column (7): Observed He II/Hβ intensities. Column (8): Hardness of the ionizing spectra between 54.4 eV (He+) and 13.6 eV (H) following Eq. (1) and assuming . Upper limits refer to a 2σ limit.
