Core rotation rate as a function of the mixed-mode density for models during the hydrogen-shell burning phase. The efficiency of AM redistribution (parametrised by the additional viscosity ν_add) varies in order to reproduce the mean evolution of the core rotation rate as given by asteroseismic constraints for a 1.5 M_⊙ model with an initial period of P_ini = 10 days at three different locations (𝒩 = 4, 9, and 14), shown with yellow dots on the evolutionary tracks.
