Azimuthally averaged radial profiles of ¹²CO, ¹³CO, and C¹⁸O J = 2−1 and ¹³CO J = 6−5 at intermediate resolution for LkCal5 (left) and at high resolution for HD 169142 (right). The gas cavity (light blue shaded region) is unresolved at these spatial resolutions. We note that, in the left-hand panel, the morphology of the ¹³CO J = 6−5 is very different from the ¹³CO J = 2−1 line. Furthermore, the integrated ¹³CO J = 6−5 line intensity was multiplied by 0.2 (LkCal5) and 0.1 (HD 169142) for visibility. The (combined) high resolution data for the LkCal5 disk is presented in Fig. 2.
