Counts of the simulated number of FoV observations of the 196 sky positions used in this study for a five- and ten-year Gaia mission (bin size: 10), see top panels of Fig. 6 for the corresponding sky-distribution. For radial velocity measurements, the number of FoV observations is reduced by a factor of 0.57 (4/7, see Sect. 2.2).
