From left to right, the panels show the time and azimuthally averaged magnetisation, σ, plasma β, gas temperature (proton) in code units, Tcode, and Lorentz factor Γ for a BH with a = +15/16. All parameters are plotted in logarithmic scale. The top row shows these quantities for the SANE accretion, and the bottom row shows them for the MAD case. The dashed white line represents the boundary between bounded (Be < 1) and unbounded (Be > 1.02) plasma defined through the Bernoulli parameter Be, and the black contour lines log10σ = −1.0, 0, and 0.5 correspond to jet sheath and jet spine boundaries.
Current usage metrics show cumulative count of Article Views (full-text article views including HTML views, PDF and ePub downloads, according to the available data) and Abstracts Views on Vision4Press platform.
Data correspond to usage on the plateform after 2015. The current usage metrics is available 48-96 hours after online publication and is updated daily on week days.
