Maximum mass of planetesimals shepherded into the SSP without active planetesimal collisions Mmax, shep as a functionof planetary mass Mp. Here, thecase is considered where the protoplanet migrates with the type II regime obtained by Kanagawa et al. (2018) (see Eq. (51)). The solid and dashed lines show the cases of <i> = 10−3 and 10−2, respectively. The black and red lines are cases of massive disk with Σgas,0 = 1400 g cm−2 and 800 g cm−2, respectively. The parameters used in this plot are the optically thick disk of T0 = 140 K, the disk viscosity αvis = 10−3, the size of planetesimal Rpl = 107 cm, and the planetesimal density ρpl = 1 g cm−3. The scaling parameter of the location of the SSP C is obtained as C = 17.
