Schematic data flow representing the PHANGS-MUSE data reduction part (DRP) of the pipeline. pymusepipe is used as the global process wrapper. The data flow includes a data organiser that addresses the raw data files, followed by standard MUSE data reduction steps (via MUSE DRS), which leads to the first reduced ‘Pixel Tables’ (PixTables) and cubes. These are aligned using WFI or Direct CCD reference images (via reproject). Aligned individual PixTables are then either resampled on a common grid or directly mosaicked. Optional convolution is performed using the framework from mpdaf and astropy, while pypher provides the required kernel cube.
