Reconstruction rms in waves as a function of uncalibrated DA rms. The different colors represent spectral separations. The reconstruction error closely follows a quadratic function, shown in black, which indicates that the DAs come in as a second-order effect. The rms at small aberrations is limited by the reconstruction algorithm at ∼10−5λ.
