Crater aging: We applied the crater degradation model of Fassett & Thomson (2014) to three craters of different diameters (D = 300 m, 1 km, 3 km) from an age of 0 to 3 Gyr. Each line in those figures corresponds to a certain age interval ∼1 Gyr (0 Gyr, 1.0 Gyr, 2.0 Gyr, and 3.0 Gyr). After 3 Gyr of evolution, the smallest crater is almost indiscernible, the 1 km crater is flattened but still has distinct relief, and the 3 km crater only shows apparent changes near its rim and interior floor.
