Spectral comparison for a CDS based on model he4p0 with mild mixing (blue; label he4p0) and the model counterpart in which the composition is homogeneous throughout (red; label he4p0/uni). This raises the iron abundance to a value that is ten times solar at every depth and the strength of Fe II emission is consequently strongly enhanced in the optical but reduced in the UV.
