Outflow detection rate as a function of clumps’ heliocentric distances (Dist.), showing that the detection rates are more or less similar for clumps with Dist. < 14 kpc, and quickly decrease in clumps with Dist. > 14 kpc. As <1% of sources in the sample have Dist. > 14 kpc, any distance bias would not significantly impact the statistical analysis of the outflow detection in this work. The error bars on the x axis are derived the bin size of distances and y axis are calculated from the standard error of binomial distribution of the detection rate, as shown in Sect. 4.1.
