Same as Fig. 5 but for models that show features associated with a luminous blue variable phase before becoming Wolf-Rayet stars. In both cases, we use our newly developed method for a direct extension in the post-main-sequence phase (that is, removing mass layers one by one from the last computed model’s envelope and correcting for the values of the surface properties, as explained in Sect. 4). Red line marks this phase of stellar life.
