Local stellar velocity distribution perturbed to linear order in the Galactic plane by the bar of Sect. 2.4 with Ω_b = 1.89Ω₀ with the Stäckel fudge, and an amplitude of the bar growing as described in Sect. 4.1. The first 11 panels display the temporal evolution of the perturbation. The last panel displays the stationary case. The amplitude of the bar goes from 0 at t = 0 to its plateau (g(t)=1) at t = 0.5 Gyr.
